Ekua is a product of Wesley Girls High School. She graduated from Lancaster University, UK, with a BSc. (Hons) in Business Studies, and holds an MBA Marketing degree from the University of Abertay, Dundee. She has also been awarded a Master of Arts degree in Applied Research, from the Swiss Business School. In addition, Ekua has been conferred a Doctorate in Business Administration, her research interests being future-focused education, 21 century skills and competencies, learner-focused management, and student-oriented teaching. She is a specialist in 21 century learning, and a certified facilitator of International Baccalaureate Organisation’s (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP).

With respect to practice, Ekua has over 20 years’ local and international experience in managing operations and personnel in industries ranging from hospitality, health care, retail, logistics, banking, insurance,  information communication technology and business consultancy. Among the key positions she has held are Customer Service Manager for TESCO, one of the world’s largest supply chains; Strategic Marketing Coordinator, and Head of Procurement for ProCredit, Ghana (now Fidelity Bank); and Business and Communications Manager of Lutheran Schools Ghana. In recent years, she has explored her passion for education, consolidating her expertise in 21 century learning. She is a pioneer of Tema International Primary School, where she held the position of Administrator from its inception.

An ardent proponent of quality education as a tool for Africa’s transformation, Ekua Mansoa Addae is passionate about children and their holistic development.
